It started at ten oclock. I was very excited. in the evening I went to the race course to see the olympic torch arrive. My favourite part was the bit where the man carried the torch on the horse, the flame was very big. We all waved as the flame went past. I saw the olympic colours. Afterwards I went for something to eat in Chester.

Easter coffee afternoon

On Wednesday 28th March, we held an Easter themed coffee afternoon.

Thanks to lots of hard work we had homemade cakes and eyeopener crafts & goodies on sale. A guess the weight of the cake competition also provided some fun.

We also had an Easter raffle, the first prize being a brand new mountain bike. Amongst the other prizes were a tropical fruit hamper and other hampers full of Easter treats.

Many thanks to all those who attended, thanks to your generosity we managed to raise £398, a fantastic amount.

Thank you again from all the staff team at Canal Street

Tony Berry in concert.

Last night I went  with my housemates Alexis and Ray, to Ellesmere Port.

We went to see Tony Berry who is a country & western singer and also a story teller.

He sung some of my favourite songs, such as "You'll never walk alone" and "There's no business like showbusiness"

Everbody had a really good time. After the show we all recieved a signed CD cover as well as a CD, which we are going to play at home.
