The Memoirs of Graham - (Part 2)

At 7 years old I took a model off the stand In Ellesmere Port. My mum was fed up with me being daft, so she put me on the stand too.  I was laughing so much that I nearly wet myself.
My Mum and Grin told me to get up the stairs. People were looking, saying “that lady is telling that lad off”

When I was 8 years old I teased an Alsatian dog. The dog got very angry and its master said “don’t tease him please dear”.  The dog was called Bruno.

Liverpool - My Club - Steve.D

I am a big fan of Liverpool football club. I support Liverpool because my Grandad was a massive fan of them.

Our best ever manager was Bill Shankly. He rebuilt the team after relegation and signed great players such as Emlyn Hughes. He paved the way for success and laid foundations for modern day managers Paisley, Fagan, Dalglish, Evans and Benitez.

My favourite all time players include Ian Rush, who was a great goalscorer and started his career at Chester ( my other favourite team). Kenny Dalglish who was both played for and managed us, he would be a great player in any era. Finally Graeme Souness is another all time great, he was a top midfield general and hardman.

In recent years my favourite player would have to be Michael Owen, he was also a top goalscorer and a local lad. Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll are my current favourites.

This season, in my opinion we will finish in 2nd place. I think Manchester City will finish as champions.

The Memoirs Of Graham (Part One)

At 3 years old  I supped a mans pint.

At 4 years old  I pulled the handle of the ice cream machine. It went all over the pavement My Dad had to pay for it all.

At 5 years old  I got into a coal wagon. I started it up and put coal into the dustbin with a shovel

At 6 years old  I put a firework into the dustbin. It set alight but my mum soon put it out.  She wasn't pleased

Our trip to Northwich

Recently we paid a visit to the Firdale Centre in Northwich. The home of the  "Chatterbox 5" blog group. Despite a detour via Nantwich we managed to drop in on the group and see how hard they have been working. It was great to meet everybody. Many thanks to Jackie and Ashley for welcoming us, we had a great time.

Manchester City - My Club - By Tony

We are formed in 1887. I have supported them sice 1982. My friend took me to Maine road. They were playing Ipswich Town. The final score was 1-1. Asa Hartford scored for Man City. Asa  Hartford is one of my all time favourite players, along with

COLIN BELL

FRANCIS LEE
BRIAN KIDD
Peter Barnes
Dennis Tuert

Nowadays they to buy a lot of foriegn players.
At the moment Carlos tevez is my favourite player.

In 2002 we scored 108 goals and conceded 58.
We thrashed Huddersfield Town 10-1 Which was our record win. Three different players scored hat –tricks that day.

In total we have won 5 F.A Cups 2 League Cups and 3 Charity Shields.

Roberto Mancini is our new manager. This season we have beat Swansea 4-0. Tottenham 5-1, we beat Bolton 3-2 and Wigan 3-0. In Our last game we drew 2-2 with Fulham. This was a really good start to the season.

We will have to wait and see who finishes at the top of the table.

Pams Poetry Corner

I dare not ask a kiss,

I dare not beg a smile,

Lest having that, or this,

I might grow proud this while.

No, no, the utmost share,

Of my desire shall be,

Only to kiss that air,

That lately kissed thee.
